Nicole Kidman’s kids, Isabella 15, and Connor 12, who she shares with Tom Cruise, refuse to call her “Mom”, but they don’t mind calling Tom’s new wife that.  In an interview with Parade Magazine, Katie Holmes talks about her relationship with her stepkids.

“His first two children are incredible, really smart and kind,” Katie says. “They call me ‘Mom.”

Nicole Kidman recently admitted in an interview with GMTV that Isabella and Connor only refer to her by her first name.

“My kids don’t call me Mommy, they don’t even call me Mom,” the The Golden Compass star told U.K. TV show GMTV in November. “They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it.”

Ouch! This must be really hurtful for Nicole.  I know I would be upset if I were in her shoes.

Hey did y’all hear?  Jamie Lynne is pregnant!  What a shocker.  The 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears is 12 weeks pregnant.  The father is her boyfriend of three years, Casey Aldridge.  In an exclusive interview with OK! magazine, Spears talks about when she found out she was pregnant.

“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected,” she said. “I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

“I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody.”

“Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me,” she said.

Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.

“She was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all,” Spears said. “A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”

Jamie Lynn says she wants to raise her baby in Louisiana so it can have a normal life.

When big sis Britney found out Jamie Lynn was pregnant, she was reportedly “frantic” and denied it when paparazzi asked her about it saying “My sister’s not pregnant.  Whatever!”

In other Spears family news, Lynn Spears’ book on parenting has been pushed back.  Surprise Surprise.  According to People:

“The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

Publishers’ Weekly described the book as “Lynne Spears’s personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.”

The book was due out in the Spring of 2008.

I wonder how this woman can think she knows enough about good parenting to write a book about it.  Her oldest daughter is a mess, and the other one is knocked up at 16.  Good job there Lynn.

Lily Allen’s spokesperson confirmed that the singer is pregnant with her first child.  The father is Allen’sboyfriend of 3-months, Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers.

Her spokesman said today: “I am pleased to confirm that Lily and Ed are expecting their first baby. The health of Lily and her child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment, but they are obviously thrilled by the news.”

So many celebrities are pregnant, it’s crazy! But congrats to Lily. Hopefully she’ll keep her kid away from her dad.  He might try to use the baby to sell drugs or something.

Hugh Grant put on a little show for diners at Roka sushi restaurant in London’s West End the other night.  Grant and Chinese actress (and former porn star) Shu Qi made out while another male companion, who was identified as director John Duigan, stroked her leg.

One observer described the scene as “…disgusting. Hugh and the girl were completely going for it. It was brazen. But he didn’t seem to care.”

Witnesses described the Bridget Jones’s Diary star as appearing tired and emotional as he canoodled with the woman while the male friend tried to appear as if he wasn’t doing anything.

When further questioned at his home about the incident, Hugh told the reporters to “F**k off”!

Geez!  Can’t a guy engage in a bizarre make out session with an ex-porn star and another dude in a sushi restaurant anymore?  What is the world coming to?

Is Britney Spears headed for the chapel again?  According to Star Magazine, Britney is planning to get married to her creepy hanger-on/manager, Sam Lutfi, in Las Vegas.  However her those close to her are concerned about the negative influence Lutfi has on her, and her lawyers have urged her to get a pre-nup.   A source close to Britney’s ex husband, Kevin Federline, says he is also concerned about Brit’s plans to marry Lutfi.

“Kevin has seen Sam lose his temper.  We hear he swears a lot and makes very derogatory statements when he’s alone with Brit. Kevin has forbidden Britney from having Sam around the boys. In fact, Kevin has threatened to get a restraining order. She’ll lose custody if she allows Sam around them, Kevin will make sure of it.”

But will the danger of losing her kids be enough to keep Brit from heading down the aisle a third time? A Star source claims it’s unlikely. “Britney is completely under Sam’s spell. Everyone sees through him, except her. I hear that he stays with her most of the time, and she pays for his food, his bar and restaurant tabs and his clothing. She takes car of everything.”

Who would’ve thought 1 year ago, that Kevin Federline would be the sane and reasonable parent in this whole mess.  Sure he is probably doing it partly for the money, but at least he still has his kids’ best interests at heart.  Britney is just batshit.  Hopefully for her, it’s just a rumor, but with this chick anything can happen.

Pam Anderson filed for divorce from her husband of two months, Rick Salomon earlier today, and then changed her mind.  Anderson cited “irreconcilable differences” in her claim, but then wrote on her website that the pair are now “working things out”.

Hmm…I wonder if this has anything to do with the reality show they are shooting for E! ?  I bet this was all a publicity stunt and will be aired on the first episode because they are such a wild and crazy bunch!

Holy action Batman! Here is the new trailer for The Dark Knight. I can’t wait to see this movie. And from just the little snippet that I’ve seen, Maggie Gyllenhaal is already so much better than Katie Holmes.
