Vincent Margera, better known as Don Vito from MTV’s “Viva La Bam”, was convicted today on two counts of sexual assault on a child. After the verdict was announced, Margera fell on the floor and screamed “just kill me now.” Margera was charged with groping three young girls, ages 12-14 at a skate park.
He faces probation or up to 6 years in jail for each conviction, and is currently being detained without bail until his sentencing hearing on December 20.
I almost feel a little bad for this guy. He was probably playing up his sleezy Don Vito persona, thinking that’s what everyone wanted to see, and he went too far with it. Or maybe that is his real personality and he really is that grotesque. In any case, I blame Bam for this. Or MTV. They both suck. Actually child gropers suck too, so yeah…maybe I don’t feel too bad?

I really feel for the guy–I hate child molesters, but his acts really don’t place him at the level of the perps that you see on “To Catch a Predator.” I wonder if the convicting jury understands what life is like in prison for someone who is convicted of something like this. And I really don’t think that the girls will be scarred for life from this unless their parents contribute to that mindset. Would I want some fat dumb old fart to grope my 12 year old daughter in public, of course not! But why does this guy go to jail when OJ and Kobe do not. I hope he gets probation and time served. Probably the parents will try to cash in with a civil suit, I hope they are not greedy.

I LOVE BAM.
but frankly i think Don Vito got what he deserved, groping younge girls is wrong, no matter what tv show your on or how well known you are, its still unacceptable to act in this manner. People like this should be given punishment, in order for them to set their life back on track they need to pay for their mistakes.

bam margera isnt the one to blame here.
he was off doing his own thing when vito went pedo.
and i really think vito had it coming i mean the way he acts on bams tv show, viva la bam.
he has no right to do what he does.
especially not to those girls.
