This video of 50 Cent looks mighty suspicious. It’s filmed in Croatia where 50 performed, and the interviewer walks into his dressing room unexpectedly where we see 50 (in the blue jacket) kneeled over a table. Some speculate that he was snorting cocaine. When he does finally speak with the interviewer, after he takes off his jacket, he looks a little dazed and his speech is very slow. Take a look.

It’s official:  Kanye West has outsold 50 Cent and will take the #1 spot on the Billboard Charts this week.  According to Nielsen SoundScan, West sold approximately 957,000 while 50 Cent sold 621,000 albums.

50 said he would retire if Kanye sold more albums then him, but it remains to be seen whether he will live up to his promise.

Mediatakeout is reporting that 50 Cent has ordered record executives at his label, Interscope, to purchase 300,000 copies of his album Curtis. With early estimates putting Kanye West ahead of him in album sales, 50 is desperate to come out on top, and has threatened to leave Interscope if they refuse his demands.

A source at Interscope says:

[50 Cent] basically told us that we were being too cheap with his project … He laid out an ultimatum, either we go out and, using our own money, buy up 300K copies of Curtis. Or he’ll leave [the label].

For [Interscope] to do what [50 Cent] is asking, we’d have to significantly increase our post-production budget … But 50 Cent is our most important artist, so we’re looking for ways to make accommodations.

50 Cent needs to recognize that he will more than likely sell less than Kanye.  Maybe it’s time he quit the game and invest in other soft drink alternatives.  He seems to be really good at that.

In the much hyped about battle between 50 Cent and Kanye West, it looks like Kanye is beating 50 Cent in album sales by a large margin. According to early estimates, Kanye’s first week sales could reach more than 700,000 albums, and some even speculate that he could sell as many as 800,000.

50 Cent however is projected to sell 550,000-600,000 albums in the first week.

I guess it’s time for 50 Cent to call it a rap.

Kanye West and 50 Cent both have new albums coming out on September 11, if you didn’t know.  Also, 50 started some fake beef with Kanye saying if his album sold less, he would quit making albums.  Rolling Stone bought into the hype, I guess, and now we have this cover.

I hope both their albums bomb and they both quit.  Yes I’m a hater.
