Amy Winehouse won five awards at last night’s Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Female Vocal Performance. I was a bit disappointed that Amy Winehouse did not perform at the actual Grammy Awards, but she still rocked it out anyways. It was a bit endearing to see her so shocked and near tears when she learned she won Record of the Year.

Amy Winehouse suspects that it was a friend of Pete Doherty’s who filmed her smoking crack on video. Because of this, she is reportedly angry with Doherty and has stopped taking his calls.
A source tells The Mail, “She has a suspicion it might have something to do with one of Pete’s friends who supplied him with drugs. At the moment she isn’t taking Pete’s calls. She has said she’s not happy with him. “The truth is she is devastated that one of her so-called friends has stitched her up and filmed her.”
The good news to come out of this is that Amy has checked herself into treatment for her drug addiction. So good for her. Do you think she would have gone into treatment if that video hadn’t been released?

The Sun got footage of Amy Winehouse smoking crack. In this video, she is first seen talking on a cell phone, and she later says she had to take 6 valium pills to bring herself down. The she is seen smoking a crack pipe in front of her wedding picture. I wonder why she would let someone video tape her doing that? It’s not like it was a hidden camera.
The Daily Mail is reporting that producer Mark Ronson recently brought drugs to Amy Winehouse’s apartment on Monday night. Their proof is a mysterious packet that Ronson was seen carrying as he paid for a cab. I don’t know much about drugs but that just looks like a scrap of paper. Besides, I didn’t think he was into drugs, but maybe that’s just me being naive again. And if it were drugs, why would he be so out in the open with it? That doesn’t make sense. Amy Winehouse got rid of her trademark black beehive and dyed her hair blonde. Love it or hate it? I actually like it a lot…for now. The beehive was her signature look, but going shorter and lighter makes her look somehow fresher? If that is possible. I’m sure in about a week it will look like a hot mess because she will be too busy doing whatever it is she does to upkeep the look.
