Looks like things are heating up between Kate Hudson and Dax Shepard.  Recently, Kate brought Dax to meet her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

‘Dax fit right in, says a source, adding that the Employee of the Month actor, 32, played tennis with Hudson’s younger brothers Wyatt and Boston, and helped teach her 3-year-old son, Ryder, how to fish.

‘One day, all the guys took a boat to an outdoor market and ate hot dogs. Dax and Kurt were laughing like they had known each other for years,’ says the source.

Her family may like him but her friends are puzzled by her choice.  Says a source:

Everyone thinks it’s a strange choice for her. Dax is wild and weird.

I think I might agree with them.  This relationship is reminding me of the similarly mis-matched pair Drew Barrymore and Tom Greene, and we all know how that ended.
