Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child together according to People magazine.  Rossdale’s father, Douglas confirmed the pregnancy saying: “They and the whole family are delighted.”

Gwen and Angelina must be on the same schedule because they both had Kingston and Shiloh around the same time, and now both of them are pregnant again.  Well, Angelina hasn’t confirmed it yet, but she is sooo pregnant.  Anyways, congratulations to them all!

According to his babymomma, Pearl Lowe, Gavin Rossdale has been a bit deficient in the parenting department. Lowe, who with Rossdale have an 18-year-old daughter, Daisy Lowe, claims that the former Bush frontman and husband of Gwen Stefani, is basically a horrible father to Daisy.

On when she and Rossdale first had an inkling of daughter Daisy’s paternity:
“Gavin [who was already in Daisy’s life as her Godfather] came to me saying I think we need to find this out. But when we set up meetings to have DNA tests he didn’t show up. And it got weird and he stopped returning my calls.”

On Rossdale’s absence from Daisy’s life since DNA tests taken in 2004 proved he’s her father:
“This guy’s a millionaire, he can at least give Danny [Lowe’s partner and Daisy’s father-figure] back the money he’s spent. It’s been a traumatic time for us. I lost my best friend, Daisy lost her godfather and doesn’t have a dad. And she lost self-worth. Because when someone rejects you like that, you wonder what’s wrong with you…When he had his baby with Gwen, Daisy’s half-brother, he didn’t even tell her. She’s never seen the baby. Not to take responsiblity and not to let your daughter even meet her grandparents and see her heritage is pretty sick.”

On whether she’d want to reconcile:
I really don’t care if I never see him ever again. He’s been incredibly vile. He saw Daisy at first, but he was always rude to her, he made it feel like it was her fault. It was her 18th birthday and there was no present, no phone call, nothing.”

If it is true, then his daughter should be mighty pissed at him. Imagine seeing your father with his new family and new kid, acting like such the doting dad, while he treated you like shit? That’s gotta be harsh.

But somehow I don’t quite believe this story. Something doesn’t add up here.  If it was Gavin who suggested the DNA test, then neither one of them knew he was the father. Plus, they took the test in 2004, when she would be about 15-years-old.  How can he be held accountable for not being in her life during that time as her father if he didn’t know?

Also, why would Pearl expect him to “pay back” her partner for the money he spent?  I mean, do people expect to get reimbursed for this kind of thing? This seems very fishy to me.
