I forgot Lauryn Hill was pregnant there for a sec.  With all these celebs that are knocked up nowadays, it’s hard to keep track!  Anyways, Lauryn reportedly gave birth to her fifth child with Rohan Marley, Bob Marley’s son.  I remember when she had only had two kids, Zion and Selah, so I was kind of shocked to learn that this is her 5th kid!!!  But congratulations to the new parents.

Wyclef Jean is speaking out about his former bandmate Lauryn Hill’s erratic behavior, and says he believes she needs psychiatric help.  In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Jean says:

I felt sorry for her, because I think she needs psychiatric help. I felt like she’s bipolar. You can’t get angry with someone who’s sick.  So I even called her mom, and I stressed to her, ‘Yo, you need to get her psychiatric help.’ But I think they all fear her to death. She wasn’t always like this - but if someone has the ego and you keep feeding the ego, it’s going to turn monstrous.

First of all, if he really is so concerned about her mental state, perhaps it is not the best idea to air all that shit out in the media.  Also, I never heard about Lauryn speaking out about Wyclef or Pras with such disrespect.  Really,  he should just shut his damn mouth.  So she doesn’t want to have a Fugees reunion.  Doesn’t mean she’s crazy.  I mean she very well might be, but it’s not because she doesn’t want to work with that jackass again.

Remember back in the day when Lauryn Hill was on top of the world with “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” and she sang about empowering yourself, and all that good stuff?

What the heck happened?

It seems like some major shit went down with L. Boogie, because she’s been acting straight up mental. In the most recent example of her erratic behavior, Lauryn Hill stunned and disappointed concert-goers during her performance Wednesday night in Oakland, California.

The San Fransisco Chronicle wrote a scathing review of her performance, which included some highlights–or rather lowlights–such as her coming on stage 2 1/2 hours late, flubbing her songs, stumbling on the stage and eventually falling on her back.

Half the theater even emptied out after the first four songs because they were so upset!
