Ryan Phillipe is speaking out about his painful divorce from Reese Witherspoon.  The couple were married for 7 years before their divorce became finalized in October.  Ryan tells US magazine:

After the divorce, I was a physical wreck.  I wanted to die.  I was ready to kill myself.  I was not taking care of myself at all.  I would wake up and cry and vomit.

He also admits that the divorce has made it easier for him to cry on camera.

Now it’s…easy.  When I was younger, I didn’t have enough to cry about.  But since I’ve had kids, I feel my work has become better, because my life is fuller and more complicated, and I’ve experienced so many highs and lows.

I can’t picture Reese crying and vomiting over her divorce like Ryan.  Obviously I don’t know her, but she just seems to prim and proper for that.  But who knows, maybe she was drowning her sorrows in tequila and one-night stands.  Actually, that sound more like something Ryan would do.

These pictures of Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon walking around in Rome confirm to me that they are a couple.  Not that it was a big surprise these two were together, but they have been very careful to keep their relationship a secret.  Reese and Jake began dating back in March, but reportedly broke it off in June.  Now, it appears the romance is back on, after Reese’s divorce from Ryan Phillipe was finalized earlier this month.

I think Jake is a definite upgrade for Reese.  Sure Ryan was hunky and had nice abs, bit Jake is so dreamy!  What do you think?
